I grew up in south Alabama. I started taking private piano lessons at an early age and continued through high school. After high school, I attended Alabama Southern Community College in Monroeville, AL and received an Associate of Arts degree in music. I then attended the University of Memphis in Memphis, TN and earned Bachelors of Music in Jazz Piano graduating magna cum laude.
